After six years, Jessica Mauboy is back with brand new album, Hilda, and to celebrate the ARIA Award winner joins this week's episode of The Green Room with Neil Griffiths podcast!

As well as discussing the new record, Mauboy spoke about the last six years of her career and falling out of love with music.

"I think it was my disconnection with my family," Mauboy told host Neil Griffiths.

"... I blamed music for doing that because it was taking me away from my family. It was making me fly here because music was giving me so many opportunities. In a way, I felt so bad for blaming music because... it had given me so much.

"I was really torn. I was like, 'I don't want to leave music and music will never leave me. But it's annoying, because I want to be home, but it's not allowing me to.'"
