The acclaimed Aussie rapper will head the cabal of acts headed to Melbourne and Sydney this July
Beloved local rapper Ivan Ooze has been announced as the headline act for next month's under-18 Vibe City events in Melbourne and Sydney.
Having already sold out a string of his own headline shows and supported the likes of Wu Tang Clan, Azealia Banks, Ice Cube and Cypress Hill, as well as stepping up to the big leagues for festival spots at Groovin The Moo and Beyond The Valley, Ooze is the perfect candidate to lead the charge of acts headed to Vibe City. He hits this year's events hot on the heels of new mixtape '93 KFC Rotisserie GOLD, marking another feather in his cap for 2016.
The line-up of artists joining Ooze for Vibe City also includes drumming wunderkind Matt McGuire, in his NSW and Victorian debut appearances, as well as impish beatmaker Kuren (Sydney only) and teenage hip hop upstart Dex (Melbourne only); the live performers will be complemented by a capable assortment of local DJs to keep the beat alive between acts.
The 2016 Vibe City events kick off in Melbourne at the Rubix Warehouse on Sunday 3 July (doors 5pm), and round out in Sydney at The Lair on Sunday 10 July (doors 4.45pm).
