"Due to an emergency that requires the immediate attention of a band member we are devastated to announce Inquisition have been forced to pull out of the scheduled Australian tour dates."
Sorry black metal fans, but Inquisition have had to cancel this month's 'Blood Across Australia Tour'.
A statement from promoter Direct Touring says an "emergency that requires the immediate attention of a band member" is the reason for the cancellation.
"Due to an emergency that requires the immediate attention of a band member we are devastated to announce Inquisition have been forced to pull out of the scheduled Australian tour dates. Full refunds will be issued immediately to all ticket holders."
Of course, any and all black metal aficionados that purchased an Inquisition ticket bundle will be refunded the admission ticket price of $49. Just hit up either Direct Touring or Oztix to inquire about your refunds. Also, remember to not be an angry dickhead when contacting Direct Touring, yeah? This is the first time that a headliner has pulled out in their ten plus years of organising shows. So cut 'em some slack, after all, on a long enough timeline, the cancellation of a tour is eventually bound to come up. (There, that's my slight paraphrase of a Fight Club quote for the day).

Originally, the tour was meant to kick off last night in Perth but as you can guess, that was not the case. Hopefully, a rescheduled tour get's sorted out soon! In the meantime, some of the scheduled shows may still go ahead with revised lineups. So keep checking your inboxes every now and then for updates from ticket providers and promoters.
