Another milestone for the Aussie hip hop trio.

More Hilltop Hoods More Hilltop Hoods

Just days after wrapping up their headline tour, it can be confirmed that Hilltop Hoods have officially sold over one million albums in Australia.

The giant feat comes after the Adelaide hip hop trio made ARIA chart history by becoming just the third local act to rack up five-straight #1 local albums with their February-released eighth LP, The Great Expanse, joining fellow Aussie legends Silverchair and Powderfinger.

Meanwhile, Hilltop Hoods' Australian tour is also their biggest to date having performed to over 80,000 fans across seven shows.

Appearing on The Green Room with Neil Griffiths (formerly The Music Podcast) earlier this year, Suffa said the ARIA chart achievement would be "reward" for everyone who worked with them on The Great Expanse.

"It's important to us because a lot of people worked on this record," he said.
