It's actually really good
Master of the mash-up and remix and generally bizarre musical idea Neil Cicierega has followed up his recent brilliant Metallica/Hall & Oates fusion with an innuendo-laden — and surprisingly actually really good — remix of the Ghostbusters theme, originally written and performed by Ray Parker Jr.
With the film celebrating its 30th anniversary last year, the track comes a little belatedly to be commemorative, but that really doesn't matter, because the remix — along with its accompanying clip — is so slickly put together and utterly inspired that it would have been a welcome discovery at any time.
The song is also up on Cicierega's SoundCloud, where you'll find his treasure trove of other mixes and mash-ups, including last year's Mouth Silence album, which featured this amazing Elton John/System Of A Down creation.
