Previous winner Drew McAlister is the Ambassador this year

It's the 35th year of the Gympie Music Muster in 2016 and once again, they're continuing their Talent Search competition.

With over $30,000 worth of prizes and invaluable industry exposure to be won, previous winners of the competition have been The McClymonts, Drew McAlister and O'Shea.

Drew McAlister has actually been named the Talent Search Ambassador this year, having won the Talent Search back in 2013.

"Winning gave me two things, a chance to start my career in country music and with the prize money I bought an engagement ring and proposed to my then girlfriend now wife and mother Justina. 13 years down the road things are working out great, all thanks to the Muster Talent Search!" says McAlister.
