Gwar 'Decapitate' Tony Abbott At Soundwave, Again

The band are at it again in Melbourne

More Gwar Gwar

Shock thrash metallers Gwar were at it once more at Soundwave Melbourne yesterday, with the band's now infamous 'killing' of Prime Minister Tony Abbott taking place again.

The band earned the wrath of Abbott supporters last week after they decapitated an effigy of the PM during last weekend's Soundwave sets in Brisbane and Sydney. Gwar's frontman Oderus Urungus issued a not-too-concerned statement about the incident and it doesn't seem like the band are going to put an end to the gimmick anytime soon after yesterday's set...

Gwar are set to perform at today's Adelaide Soundwave and then again for the festival this Monday in Perth.
