Guy Sebastian will return with his first album in four years this August. This week, he announced the release of the long-awaited 100 Times Around The Sun to his devoted fans on social media.
The follow-up to 2020’s T.R.U.T.H., Sebastian launches the album today with the new single Cupid, following the April release of the track Maybe. 2024 saw the singer-songwriter release the songs Antidote (featuring Sam Fischer), Burn For You, and No Reason To Stay, all of which came after the 2023 number I Chose Good.
Sebastian’s new album, 100 Times Around The Sun, will be released via Sony Music Entertainment Australia on Friday, 8 August.
He said of the upcoming release, “For the last four years from Sydney to LA to Bali to Nashville, I have poured everything of myself into this album. It’s an incredibly personal album that I wanted to feel full of love, life and joy. When I get to this point of finally being able to share it with you all, the nerves and excitement definitely hits!”
Of the single Cupid, which you can check out below, he added: “Cupid is out! I can’t believe it. It took about four years to finish, and it went through a lot of different versions. This song is a letter to Cupid, pointing out that he only had one job to do, and he got it all so wrong. This took me an eternity to produce with so many layers, but I'm stoked with how it turned out. I hope you enjoy it!”

In October, Sebastian revealed that he would be leaving the coach’s chair on The Voice Australia after six years, so he could have more time to focus on his music.
Taking to Instagram, he congratulated the winner of last year’s season – Perth singer Reuben De Melo – before revealing his decision to take a break from The Voice so he can commit to “writing and performing new music.”
In addition to sharing his commitment to writing and touring, Sebastian wrote that he is planning shows in Australia and internationally.
