Grimes Adds More Shows

Grimes – undoubtedly one of the most hyped about artist at the moment – has proven she's the shit selling out her first Sydney show in less than a day. The sell out was shortly followed by the announcement of two new Australian shows in Sydney and Melbourne.

The kooky Canadian will now be also playing at Melbourne's Corner Hotel on Wednesday 5 December and Sydney's Oxford Art Factory on Tuesday 11 December. Tickets are currently on sale, but be quick as they too will surely sell out.

Grimes rose to fame with her DIY, electronic-based Visions, which saw the marriage of K-pop, punk and heavy, hypnotic hooks. Along with her obscure punk-glam image, she has set new heights in the music world.

Along with the announcement of the new shows, the 24 year old artist also dropped her new video for the single Genesis, which features some Middle Eastern-inspired desert dancing and snakes.
