Green Day ‘Saviors’ Tour Setlist Revealed

Green Day began their massive Saviors tour (named after their latest album) in Spain last month. After wrapping up a tour of Europe and the UK, they are now in the US for another run of dates.

However, the Saviors tour isn’t all about promoting their new album. Instead, Green Day – acknowledging the 20th and 30th anniversaries of their iconic albums, American Idiot and Dookie, respectively, have worked their new album into a double anniversary tour.

Accompanied by special guests The Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid, and The Linda Lindas, the American punk trio kicked off the first show on their US tour at Nationals Park, Washington DC, on Monday (29 July), with a new song – The American Dream Is Killing Me – before launching into Dookie in its entirety.

After playing Dookie, Green Day played some new songs and tracks from other albums (including 21st Century Breakdown, Insomniac, and Warning) before getting into American Idiot. They closed the show with every ‘90s kid’s graduation tune, Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life). You can check out the full setlist below.

Green Day released their new album, Saviors, in January. The lead-up to Saviors was preceded by the singles One Eyed Bastard (a surprise release), The American Dream Is Killing Me, Look Ma, No Brains! and Dilemma. The track Bobby Sox was released as a single on the day of the album’s release (19 January).

In December, the punk-rock heroes started teasing an Australian tour in support of Saviors.

“We haven’t been to Australia in years,” frontman Billie Joe Armstrong said on Sunrise.

“We definitely want to come back — maybe 2025. Every time we go to Australia, it’s hard to leave.”
