More Gang Of Four More Gang Of Four

Legendary British post punk group Gang Of Four have been forced to postpone their forthcoming Australian tour, which was set to begin in Melbourne on Wednesday 19 March, citing issues of a very serious and personal nature keeping them away.

The band, which still features original guitarist Andy Gill, were to be playing their iconic 1979 album Entertainment! in full on the tour to celebrate its 35th anniversary. They maintain that make up dates will be announced before long, but at this stage there is no timeframe given for when they might be taking pace.

The band's statement is below:

“Gang Of Four's forthcoming Australian tour dates have been curtailed by some unforeseen family circumstances of a serious & personal nature. The decision has certainly not been taken lightly & we very much regret that we have to postpone the March tour. All tickets will be fully refunded & further tour dates will be rescheduled & announced soon.
