St Kilda's own Georgia ‘G Flip’ Flipo has sent fans into a tizzy after announcing that they'll be dropping their second album DRUMMER on August 11.

The epic news didn't stop there, with the Aussie star also releasing a second single from the highly-anticipated forthcoming album - a track titled The Worst Person Alive.

Announcing both the album release date and new single via social media, G revealed, "I’m very happy to announce that MY NEW ALBUM DRUMMER IS COMING OUT AUGUST 11TH!! I've been waiting years to share this with you all, thank you to anyone who has supported me 🥁 drop some drum emoji’s if you’re keen."

Speaking of the new single, G Flip said; "This song is about feeling like the worst person alive after being the one to instigate a breakup. One day you’re in a relationship and the other person is your number 1, they know everything about you, they know you better than anyone else, you’ve had some of your best memories with that person and then you break up and you sadly become strangers."

"I really hate that it’s all or nothing. It’s such a drastic change - 'Last year I was the love of your life, now I’m the worst person alive'," they added.

The album and the single announcement come hot off the news that G Flip is set to kick off their biggest-ever headline tour on home soil, hitting some of the most prestigious venues in the country this August.

They’ll kick the Drummer tour off in Meanjin/Brisbane on Friday August 18, taking over The Tivoli with local legend Hope D

The fellow queer icons will keep the party rolling in Gimuy/Cairns the night after (August 19), and then head to Boorloo/Perth exactly a week after that (August 26). Before then, however – on Friday August 25 – Flipo will play the Hindley Street Music Hall in Kaurna/Adelaide alongside Jacoténe.

That dynamic duo will reunite in Wadawurrung/Torquay on Thursday August 31, before hitting up the legendary Forum in Naarm/Melbourne that Saturday (September 2).

Finally, Flip will wrap their itinerary up with Charley in NSW, first at Eora/Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Friday September 8, then at the Bar On The Hilin Awakabal/Newcastle the following night (September 9). Tickets are available now here.

It's undoubtedly been a massive year for the GET ME OUTTA HERE hitmaker, who delighted fans last month with the news that they had married their partner, Selling Sunsets star Chrishell Stause, after dating for a year.
