Fresh off the back of a run of northern hemisphere dates, local favourite G Flip has announced a run of homecoming dates for early 2026.
Their first headlining tour of the country in what feels like an age, the newly-announced run of shows will see G Flip playing massive shows around the country throughout February and March.
Kicking off at Riverstage in Brisbane on February 27th, G Flip will hit up Sydney's Hordern Pavilion, Melbourne's Margaret Court Arena, and Adelaide's AEC Theatre before booting it home with a show at the Fremantle Arts Centre in Perth on March 14th.
Joining the local icon on the forthcoming tour is none other than Canadian quartet The Beaches, who make their return after an Aussie debut in early 2024. Additionally, multi-disciplinary creative Ayesha Madon also joins the bill, opening each night of the tour.
“I am so excited to be coming home to play some shows with my mates The Beaches and Ayesha Madon!” G Flip said in a statement. “The Dream Ride Tour is going to a bloody good time, can’t wait to see you there!”
The nascent run of shows comes just days after the announcement of the musician’s latest album, Dream Ride, which is scheduled to arrive on September 5th.

“When diving in and writing this record, I was sonically captivated by the ’80s,” G Flip said of the album. “I love the use of reverb, the drum tones, all the sonics, the musicality, the soloing, and big drum moments.
“I also really wanted to make a world to accompany the music and storytelling. I kept asking myself, ‘Who would I have been in the 80’s? What would I wear, what haircut would I have, and what car would I drive?'”
“The answer is Butch Springsteen, the masc lesbian, non-binary, drumming, singing pop star that never existed,” they explained.
Tickets to G Flip’s upcoming tour go on sale from 1pm local time on Monday, July 21st, with a Frontier Member pre-sale running 24 hours from 12pm local time on Thursday, July 17th.
