Stonnington Jazz 2016 kicks off today, packing every day until 22 May with premiere events, music workshops, club shows and a series of concerts, as well as free events for all ages.
Just a few of the festival highlights include Backbeat: Stories Of Australian Jazz, an festival exclusive exhibition showcasing the history and evolution of jazz in Australia that runs the length of Stonnington Jazz.
Melbourne-based, French-inspired ensemble La Nuit Blanche will play a wide a variety of Jazz on Murphy Street, South Yarra on 14 May for Jazz in South Yarra featuring La Nuit Blanche.
A Little Jazz Mass will mix modern compositions with a normal Sunday morning Eucharist service on 15 & 22 May.

The streets of Windsor will be transformed into a French Quarter-style shindig for the New Orleans Street Party and heaps more beside.
