Both Lorne and Marion Bay get a boost

The New Year's Eve Falls Music & Arts Festival in Victoria and Tasmania have today announced the return the The Village for the 2012/13 event.

A mixture of local bands and art troupes (apart from Chicago's Willis Earle Beal), artists include ten-piece funk-soul outfit The Cactus Channel, prog-metal outfit Infernal Outcry and surf punks The 88's.

Form the arts side of things there's the Karaoke Falls, 10 Minute Pedal Powered Dance Parties and Clubhouse Comedy.

Added to the 'arts' line-up in Lorne, Victoria, in alphabetical order is:
