The Aussie rock legend hits the road later this month.
Part love letter, part pub-rock anthem, Jimmy Barnes’ latest single, I Won’t Let You Down, now has an uplifting music video to accompany it.
Premiering today via The Music, the new song is taken from Barnes’ acclaimed 17th studio album, My Criminal Record, and was penned by The Living End’s Chris Cheney.
“When he was writing, he said he couldn’t help but think about Jane and I, because, you know, we’ve gone through hell and high water together and we’re best mates,” Barnes said.
“When I played it to Jane, she thought it sounded like one of my songs, and it does certainly have a touch of country involved in it.”
Barnes will head out on a massive headline tour of Australia this month, all the details of which you can find in theGuide.
