EXCLUSIVE: Port Fairy Folk Festival Adds Even More Names To Line-Up

14 January 2015 | 11:32 am | Staff Writer

Skipping Girl Vinegar, Frank Yamma, Luluc and more join the already massive 2015 roster

The fourth-round line-up announcement for this year's eagerly awaited Port Fairy Folk Music Festival is upon us and, led by the likes of Skipping Girl VinegarBearded Gypsy Band and Frank Yamma, 2015 is shaping up to be one of the biggest in the event's storied history.

Things may have seemed a little quiet on the Skipping Girl Vinegar front of late, with last full-length Keep Calm Carry The Monkey dropping back in 2011, but the Melburnian indie-rockers nonetheless have kept up appearances in the time since to the point of being coaxed to bring out the big guns to grace the Port Fairy stage. South Australia's Bearded Gypsy Band, meanwhile, have been solidly accruing a dedicated following everywhere their stomp-along sounds are heard, and local legend Frank Yamma should need no introduction to discerning listeners who have acquainted themselves with his dulcet tones over his more-than-decade-long career.

The new additions also include LulucMike Brady and the Fiona Ross Band, all of whom join a sizeable existing roster of drawcards comprised of Sinead O'Connor, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Wagons, John Butler Trio, Christine Anu, Davidson Brothers and many more.
