Paul Piticco and Blake Rayner have today launched new short format introduction label Nook Nook Records, with two releases already line-up.

Operating as an imprint of the Create/Control label, the label intends to expand on the traditional 'singles label' format to include sponsorship, synching and touring/festival opportunities for its artists.

Today Rayner said, “We've designed Nook Nook Records as an early warning system, a way to introduce the best that crosses our path. It's a hand-picked Australian home for new artists, a small 'singles and EPs' label with the muscle of a big indie label and a flexibility to move quickly when we spot an new artist whose direction we love and need to share.”
