KeeskeaBrisbane solo artist Vanessa Marousopoulos aka Keeskea has just revealed to theMusic.com.au she has inked a label deal with indie label Hobbledehoy Record Co.
Speaking about the signing, founder Tom Majerczak said, "Hobbledehoy has always kept a close-knit roster; so when a new artist joins it is a big deal for us. Sometimes an artist comes along that causes us to step back and rethink everything. Vanessa Marousopoulos (Keeskea) is one of those artists.
"When music affects deeply, perhaps triggering something at a subconscious level, it can be foolish trying to rationalise choices. Gut feelings are there for a reason. What's next? We cannot wait."
Marousopoulous impressed with debut single You Did earlier in the year gaining airplay with triple j. She joins a roster that includes Arrows, Deafcult, Sophie Hutchings, Bec Stevens and more.
