We're still recovering from another epic dose of Falls Festival Byron Bay, with local legends, international superstars and some seriously good vibes kicking off 2019 in style.

Here's why we can't wait for the next instalment of Falls Festival.

DAY ONE

Dec 31

  • Punters scrambled to catch Hobo Johnson, while Hockey Dad dominated with I Wanna Be Everybody.
  • Although she only had a short set, Mallrat delivered maximum vibes.
  • Ocean Alley's Yellow Mellow and Lemonworld went down like smooth molasses.
  • Headliners Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals were in fine form as they rang in 2019.

DAY TWO

Jan 1

  • Tunes like Sugar & Spice saw local singer-songwriter Hatchie enjoy a large crowd early on in the day.
  • Adelaide rockers West Thebarton had punters hanging off every riff by the end of their energetic set.
  • Briggs had the audience onside quickly with a commanding stage presence.
  • King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard destroyed minds with heavy picks from Polygondwanaland
  • With singer Tim Nelson dressed like an angel and singing like an ACTUAL angel, Cub Sport's set was religious and funky.
  • Tkay Maidza had a HUGE stage presence at Falls.
  • The amphitheater was packed with insane waves of grooving all the way to the top for Hilltop Hoods' Nosebleed Section.
  • First Aid Kit brought out Aussie fave Julia Jacklin for a beautiful cover of Neil Young's After The Gold Rush.
  • Catfish & The Bottlemen shredded through a near-perfect mix of huge singles such as 7 and plenty of deep cuts.

  • Tired Lion know how to get a mosh started, unleashing a full hour of audio bombardment.
  • After enjoying a HUGE 2018, Amy Shark still remains humble on stage, inviting everyone to simply let all their happiness out.
  • Toto's set was just as epic as you'd imagine.
  • We were lucky enough to hear Odette belt out her glorious cover of Magnolia by Gang Of Youths - what a gem. 
  • The hype game of US rapper Juice Wrld was next level.
  • Indie rockers Interpol brought their colossal catalogue to the Falls main stage.
  • There was a collective sense of bliss for everyone moshing together during CHVRCHES.
  • Locals Mini Skirt proved to be one of the best acts on the line-up.
  • Flight Facilities were your typical impressive visual masterpiece accompanied by huge bangers.
