Encore Screening! Purple Rain: Prince Tribute Returns

The Orpheum has announced an encore screening of Prince's cult classic, Purple Rain, following the late singer's death.

After selling out their first showing, the film will make its return on Friday 20 May.

Directed by Albert Magnoli, Purple Rain is a rock musical drama in which Prince made his film debut and showcases his thespian talents. The film contains extended concert sequences and was released in the 1984; the same year as the eponymous classic album.
