Elsy Wameyo, Todd Rundgren & More Join 2025 Port Fairy Folk Festival Lineup

With just a matter of weeks to go until the launch of its upcoming event, the Port Fairy Folk Festival has gotten even bigger thanks to a mammoth fourth artist announcement.

Kicking off the tease for its 2025 event back in July, fans have been eagerly awaiting the upcoming edition of the Port Fairy Folk Festival, which runs from March 7 – 10. Already, it boasts a stellar collection of names, including Missy Higgins, Throwing Muses’ Kristin Hersh, Kutcha Edwards, Don Walker, and much more.

However, it’s far from over, with the festival continuing to unveil more acts that are joining its packed lineup.

Now, it’s fourth artist announcement has expanded things even further thanks to the likes of '70s US icon Todd Rundgren, who joins the bill alongside Aussie icons Vika And Linda and Troy Cassar-Daley.

Elsewhere, you'll be able to find the likes of Australiana singer and storyteller Watty Thompson, Kenyan-born R&B musician Elsy Wameyo, bluegrass outfit The High Street Drifters, and remote rockers Mulga Bore Hard Rock.

They'll be featured alongside names such as Felicity Dowd, Ray Dimakarri Dixon, and festival faves Kee’ahn, Jimi Hocking, Leah Senior, and David Francey.

“This line-up celebrates the return of the global music community to Port Fairy,” says Port Fairy Folk Festival Program Director Justin Rudge. “Festival-goers will experience longtime legends of the music scene alongside rising stars from near and far.

“Our new site layout expands the family-friendly nature of the event, with more room for Folkie seats, bars, roving entertainment and, of course, dancing! “ adds Rudge. “We can’t wait to share the Port Fairy adventure with music lovers, whether they’re a returning attendee or a new audience member – there’s something for everyone!”
