DREAMS Drop New Song & Video Inspired By The Charlottesville Riots

'We wanted this song to elevate the people'

More Dreams Dreams

DREAMS, the new musical venture from Luke Steele and Daniel Johns, have unleashed a fiery new track Silence and a trippy video to go with it.

Hot off the release of their debut track No One Defeats Us earlier in the month, Steele explains that the sharp sounds of the new single were inspired by the violence seen at riots in Virginia, US late last year.

"Silence is a song which came to us after the Charlottesville riots. It broke our hearts to see the violence and hatred that occurred," Steele said.

"We wanted this song to elevate the people, let their voices be heard, inspire them with courage and bravery."

As the only band to ever be booked for Coachella before releasing any music, the duo will debut their live set at the festival over the weekend.
