Dinosaur Jr Pick Headline Dates

Veteran rock trio Dinosaur Jr have today announced a national tour of headline date that will coincide with their Golden Plains appearance in March next year.

The band – made up of J Mascis, Murph and Lou Barlow – are starting to rack up the frequent flier points to Australia and return to the festival they starred at in 2010. This time they've got new album I Bet On Sky under their collective arm, which is out now on Liberator.

As part of the headline dates, the likes of Redd Kross, The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Royal Headache and Moon Duo will join them at stops around the country.

Tour dates are as follows:

Thursday 7 March – Corner Hotel, Melbourne, with Straightjacket Nation and White Walls Tickets
Friday 8 March – The Espy, Melbourne with Royal Headache Tickets
Saturday 9 March – Golden Plains Tickets
Sunday 10 March – The Gov, Adelaide Tickets
Tuesday 12 March – Astor, Perth, with The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion and Moon Duo Tickets
Thursday 14 March – The Hi-Fi, Brisbane, with Redd Kross Tickets
Friday 15 March – Coolangatta Hotel, with Redd Kross Tickets
Saturday 16 March – The Hi-Fi, Sydney, with Redd Kross and Royal Headache Tickets
