Diesel Adds Extra Shows To 2026 'By Request' Tour

Diesel presented his By Request show for fans across the country from January to April, but now, it seems that he’s having too much fun and isn’t ready for the tour to end.

So, the tour continues, travelling across 22 venues in New South Wales and Victoria this September, October, and November. This time, the revered Australian singer and guitarist is taking the show to the regions.

Each night, the By Request run places setlist selections in the hands of fans in the audience. Punters are encouraged to submit songs they want to hear before the show – cover songs are also accepted. With an impressive ability to perform covers and a four-decade-plus career in music, Diesel offers unpredictable sets, night after night, each show taking on a life of its own.

The spring run of the tour begins on Friday, 4 September, at Newcastle’s The Playhouse (at the Civic Theatre). It continues with regional stops in Singleton, Queanbeyan, Griffith, Milton, Bega, Daylesford, Echuca, Bendigo, Ballarat, Cowes, and more, concluding in Bathurst on Saturday, 28 November. Commenting on the announcement of new tour dates, Diesel said, “The longer we do these shows, the more I realise just how much fun it is handing over the reins.
