Back in May, renowned Aussie rocker Diesel announced that he’d be hitting the regions with a show like no other: a By Request tour.
While Diesel is reaching the end of the tour, it seems he’s decided that the unique run has been too much fun to stop, announcing 21 new tour dates across January to April 2026.
Kicking off the tour with three Tasmanian shows from Friday, 30 January, the additional tour dates will take place in New South Wales, Queensland, the Northern Territory, South Australia, the Australian Capital Territory, and Victoria, before wrapping with a hometown spectacular at the Sydney Opera House on Sunday, 26 April.
You can find the full list of tour dates and venues below.
Pre-sale tickets will be available on Wednesday, 29 April, at 10:00 am am local time – register here to access them. The general sale opens on Thursday, 30 October, at 9 am local time via Diesel’s website.

Diesel’s devoted fans will get to shape the evenings as he prepares career-spanning sets. Plenty is on offer, with song choices ranging from his 1989 debut album Johnny Diesel & The Injectors to his most recent LP, 2023’s Bootleg Melancholy, to covers of artists who have been a significant part of Diesel’s life. No show is the same as the other on the By Request tour.
“It’s safe to say, when an artist makes a set list, they are second-guessing what people want to hear most of the time,” Diesel explained in a statement.
“With the BY REQUEST TOUR, I feel like I’m hitting the sweet spot every night when I compile a set full of songs and anecdotes, directly given to me by the people that are going to be there on the night. As it turns out, we like a lot of the same music (go figure)!”
He continued, “It’s a distinctly different experience when you perform a song knowing that it’s been asked for, a tangible feeling for the performer and the audience. It has also pushed me into the deep crevices of my back catalogue, with some of my most fervent listeners shining a guiding light through these caves.
“As I journey into my 4th decade of making music, I can’t think of a better way to look back, take stock and celebrate than to engage with all who have graced me with this longevity.”
