David Byrne just began his highly anticipated Who Is The Sky tour and confirmed that it’s a show for all fans of his solo work and Talking Heads.

The tour began in Pittsburgh on Tuesday (16 September) and saw Byrne debut new solo songs and revisit Talking Heads classics, including Psycho Killer for the first time in nearly two decades, during a 21-song set.

Along with the Who Is The Sky singles What Is The Reason For It? and Everybody Laughs, he also debuted his new album’s deep cuts, My Apartment Is My Friend and Don’t Be Like That.

In addition to those numbers, Byrne performed Strange Overtones, his 2008 collab with Brian Eno, as well as Everybody’s Coming To My House and the live debut of his cover of Paramore’s Hard Times. There was even an unreleased song with the tentative title of “My beliefs are on my t-shirt,” per setlist.fm.

Of course, Psycho Killer wasn’t the only Talking Heads song performed on the first night of the tour. Byrne also played Heaven, This Must Be The Place (Naive Melody), Once In A Lifetime, set closer Burning Down The House, and more.
