Dave Grohl Reveals He's A New Father To A Daughter Outside Of His Marriage
Grohl loves his family and is doing everything he can to "regain their trust and earn their forgiveness."

Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl has shared some personal news on his Instagram this morning (11 September), revealing that he’s a new father to a daughter outside of his marriage to his wife, Jordyn Blum.
“I've recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage,” Grohl’s Instagram post began.
He continued, “I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness.
“We're grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together.”

Grohl and his wife, Jordyn, married in 2003 and share three daughters – 18-year-old Violet, 15-year-old Harper, and 10-year-old Ophelia.

The musician was previously married to photographer Jennifer Youngblood from 1994 until 1997. As The Guardian reports, Grohl has reportedly acknowledged that infidelity was a factor in their divorce.
Foo Fighters last toured in Australia last November and December, with The Music’s Sam Mead remarking of the band’s gig at HBF Park in Perth, “With a setlist lasting over two and half hours, this Foo Fighters experience isn’t for the faint of heart, but if your legs can last that long, you’re in for a treat spanning 30 years in the making.”
While the band were in Australia, Grohl was spotted helping feed those less fortunate for charity at the Melbourne site, Federation Square.
The surprise visit occurred as Foo Fighters wrapped up two energetic performances in Melbourne and prepared for their show in Sydney, with their Australian tour reaching its conclusion.
Despite having a flight to catch to join his bandmates in Sydney, Grohl worked an 18-hour shift alongside volunteers at The Big Umbrella Foundation, a non-profit organisation founded by Justin Dickinson in 2010 for the charity’s weekly Feed Melbourne program at MG’s Kitchen — named after the late Michael Gudinski.
The Australian tour also saw rarities, including the live debut of Statues and the addition of Ballad Of The Beaconsfield Miners, which had been played live for the first time since 2018.
