Extra Tickets Added To All Foo Fighters Australian Tour Dates

Good news for Foo Fighters fans who might not have tickets to their upcoming Australian tour: as of this morning (12 October), extra tickets have been added to all of the band’s tour dates down under.

“In light of updated production information, new tickets – including sight restricted – will be released for the Foo Fighters concerts in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane,” promoters Frontier Touring wrote on Facebook today. The new tickets will go on sale on Friday, 13 October, at 3 pm AEDT via the Frontier Touring website.

Perth’s HBF Park, Adelaide’s Cooper’s Stadium, the two gigs at Melbourne’s AAMI Park, Sydney’s Accor Stadium and Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium can be packed with as many Foo Fighters fans as possible with the additional ticket release.

While UK outfit Hot Milk will join the American rockers on three shows, Foo Fighters have added all-Australian support acts to their upcoming tour, including Teen Jesus & The Jean Teasers, Teenage Joans, The Chats, and Body Type.

The tour supports the Foos’ recently released 11th album, But Here We Are, which earned a 4.5-star review from The Music. In it, Stephen Green wrote that Grohl “has created a pop-rock opus, delivering complex emotion through simple lyrics and melodies in a way that hits directly at the heart”.

The write-up continued: “It's emotionally heavy, yet completely accessible, and in working through his own pain, Dave Grohl has created a mainstream album for thinking and feeling. It delivers hit rock songs, takes the listener on an almost crushing emotional journey, but crucially sets them free.”
