The festival will take over Port Hedland once more this August.
The North West Festival returns to the Pilbara region of Western Australia this August, once again bringing the people of Port Hedland some of Australia's finest talent for one massive day of kick arse music.
We don't actually know precisely who will be the bill, but given last year featured the like of Hilltop Hoods, The Living End, The Cat Empire and San Cisco, we're pretty confident that there will be some big names posted for this year's as the festival looks to cement its reputation as a region event to look out for.
Over 3,500 people attended last year, and if you plan on taking their lead for the 2013 instalment you'd better start making plans. The Port Headland Turf Club will hold the event on Saturday 24 August and once again they are offering complimentary camping to all punters; given the relative dearth of accommodation options, it's probably a good idea to take them up on that.
Stay tuned for line up details in the not too distant future.
