Counting Crows Vocalist Names Gang Of Youths The ‘Best Band In The World'

Counting Crows vocalist Adam Duritz has been fond of Aussie legends Gang Of Youths for a while now, and after gushing over them on his podcast recently he got the chance to see them live in New York this week, cementing his status as a huge fan.
The US vocalist caught the band’s set at Irving Plaza on Tuesday, taking to Counting Crows’ official Instagram with some serious props.
“Best fucking band in the world right now,” Duritz said, adding the band was “blowing up” and “unreal”.
Duritz also shared a series of images from the gigs – including one backstage with them - captioned with the lyrics from The Deepest Sighs, The Frankest Shadows.
On a recent episode of his podcast, Underwater Sunshine, Duritz and co-host James Campion spent more than 20 minutes talking about the band and showering their acclaimed 2017 LP, Go Farther In Lightness, with praise.
