The growing event hits Lake Breeze Winery in a couple months' time

More British India More British India

Stalwart Melburnian indie-rockers British India and Sydney electro-house outfit The Potbelleez have been added to this year's Handpicked Festival line-up.

The acclaimed local acts join previously announced artists The Veronicas and Killing Heidi at Langhorne Creek's Lake Breeze Wines in November; it will be the festival's third annual — and first-ever camping-inclusive — instalment, with further newly announced musical entertainment coming from rising Adelaide muso Jesse Davidson, eclectic three-piece Tympano and acoustic singer-songwriter Sasha March.

"We are really excited to be able to bring such a star-studded lineup to the Langhorne Creek region again this year," Handpicked and Lake Breeze Wines event manager Kate Cooper said in a statement.

"We feel that the addition of British India and The Potbelleez is a great success for the region. It’s a fantastic opportunity to truly showcase all the greatest aspects of the region to local and national visitors."

Speaking of visitors, being the festival's first time trying its hand at the camping side of things, its Tent City allocations are filling up "quickly", organisers said. There are only 500 spots available, so if you're thinking about travelling in and staying on-site, it's worth doing so with some urgency.

Handpicked Festival returns to Lake Breeze Wines, about 50 minutes south of Adelaide, on Saturday 12 November.

British India will hit the event in the midst of a rather sizable national tour; for more details on those shows, see theGuide.
