Eves will join the US singer-songwriter for both SITG off-shoots in Vic and NSW

Ascendant Brisbane-based songstress Hannah Karydas, aka Eves, has been announced as the lucky act to fill support shoes for incendiary entertainer Sky Ferreira at her upcoming Splendour In The Grass sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne, proudly presented by The Music.

The 19-year-old Queenslander has been honing her compositional skills for the past six years, with singles Zen and Heavy – and her accompanying self-made clips – doing much to cement the young singer-songwriter's place as an essential act to watch in the near future, with both the blogosphere and triple j's Next Crop initiative tipping their hat to her precocious talents.

Having already strutted her stuff at this year's Groovin The Moo festival and as one of the three co-headliners on the recent Triple Treat Tour alongside Jesse Davidson and Jordan Léser, Eves has certainly sculpted the chops to hold her own alongside the esteemed Ms Ferreira when the pair roll through Melbourne's Prince Bandroom on Wednesday, July 23, and stop in at Sydney's Metro Theatre for a licensed all-ages performance on Friday, July 25.
