More Bring Me The Horizon Bring Me The Horizon Profile

UK metalcore heavyweights Bring Me The Horizon are the latest act to be added to the Soundwave bill as announced by triple j today.

Announced via triple j this morning, the band will bring their new record, That’s The Spirit, to Australia in January and join the six bands already announced for the festival.

The drip-feed has already confirmed Lordi, Northlane, Refused, Failure, Dead Letter Circus and Bullet For My Valentine who will perform on Saturday 23 January in Brisbane, Sunday 24 January in Sydney, and Tuesday 26 January in Melbourne.

The band’s fifth record sees them take a different direction, which has been met with numerous reactions from fans. We spoke with frontman Oli Sykes about the change of pace leading up to its release.

“This record could tank, it could bomb, but we'll never go back to what we used to do," he said.
