Boy & Bear are heading to Victoria’s picturesque Royal Botanic Gardens this March, headlining a Live At The Gardens show, joining an already stacked list of acts performing for the series in a few months.
The Aussie indie-rock favourites aren’t the only ones who will be taking to the stage on the big day. Boy & Bear will be joined by special guests Sarah Blasko, Augie March, and Surf Coast outfit De Porsal.
Presented by Roundhouse Entertainment in conjunction with MG Live, the show will take place on Friday, 14 March. Other acts performing for Live At The Gardens over two weekends in March include Groove Armada, Róisín Murphy, Lake Street Dive, and The Cruel Sea.
Fans can purchase pre-sale tickets for Boy & Bear’s show on Friday, 17 January, at 12 pm local time. Pre-sale tickets will be available via the Roundhouse Member and Live At The Gardens Member websites. Tickets to the general public will be available from Monday, 20 January, at 10 am local time via Ticketmaster.
Food and beverages will be offered on-site, so there’s a strict no BYO alcohol or food policy for Live At The Gardens shows. The gig is licenced all-ages and punters can arrive via car or public transport.
Since releasing their double-platinum debut album, Moonfire, in 2011, Boy & Bear have won ARIA Awards and won over fans with their entrancing indie-rock energy. They followed up Moonfire with 2013’s Harlequin Dream and 2015’s Limit Of Love, both hitting #1 on the ARIA Charts. They’re currently touring off the back of their 2023 self-titled album and recently celebrated the tenth anniversary of Harlequin Dream with an epic national tour.
