Birds Of Tokyo To Embark On First Australian Headline Tour In Almost Three Years

Good Lord!

More Birds Of Tokyo Birds Of Tokyo

To celebrate the release of their latest single Good Lord, Birds Of Tokyo have announced they will embark on their first full headline tour of Australia in almost three years.

The tour will kick off in Adelaide this September, followed by stops in Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

Good Lord, which The Music premiered the music video for last month, is "a raw rendering of lead singer Ian Kenny's marriage implosion".

“To be honest it’s been a rollercoaster couple of years," Kenny said.

“I was basically in pieces when we were writing this song and maybe that intensity explains why it's striking such a chord with people. It’s great that something good can come out of something bad - funny how often that happens if you can just get through the rough patches in life.”

General public tickets go on sale from 9am on Monday 15 April. For a look at all of the venues and dates, click on theGuide or scroll down.
