Birds Of TokyoBirds Of Tokyo have been announced as the final act for this year's Channel [V] Island Party series.
The Perth group will perform at the [V] Island Party on Tuesday April 30, with the show set to be broadcast exclusively on Channel [V].
Known for tracks like Lanterns and Plans, the band have recently released new track Good Lord, which recently had its video premiere on theMusic.com.au. Check it out here.
"It's a tough balance to marry making cool, intelligent rock music with being a favourite on the radio," says Foxtel’s entertainment & music channels group general manager Fraser Stark.
"Tough but, obviously, it’s not impossible as Birds Of Tokyo has done just that. The ARIA and multi-APRA Award-winning band have long been favourites on [V] and everywhere else. We are chuffed to have them aboard the [V] Island for what should be an uplifting way to close out this season."
Fans can catch the show on [V] at 4pm on Saturday 4 May 2019.
