Ben Gibbard releases solo song

Death Cab for Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard, has released a new solo song, an ode to former Seattle Mariners now New York Yankees ball player Ichiro Suzuki.

The track Ichiro's Theme follows the trade of Ichiro to the New York Yankees, Gibbard posted the song on SoundCloud with a note saying, "I wrote this a few years ago. Today seems like the best day to let you all hear it. Thank you, Ichiro."
