Local indie-pop-rock heroes Ball Park Music are preceding their impending massive national tour in honour of fourth studio full-length Every Night The Same Dream with a pair of free launch shows for their home town fans.

The beloved Brisbane outfit will hit Queen Street Mall's upper stage at 5pm on Friday 19 August — the same day as the album's release — before heading to booming record store and burgeoning live-music hub Sonic Sherpa, in Stones Corner, for a stripped-back acoustic in-store performance from noon on Saturday 20 August.

You'd be wise to take the opportunity to catch the band at home while you can — from Saturday 3 September, they're on the road for a number of weeks touring the new album, taking in festival spots (including Jindabyne's Showtunes event, where they kick off the run, and Wollongong's Yours & Owls Festival) as well as headline shows around the country with support from The Creases and Sahara Beck. That said, they do have a double-header lined up in Brisbane during the run — at The Triffid, on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 September — so you're not totally out of luck if you can't get out to one of the events next weekend. Sure would be good if you did, though.

Every Night The Same Dream will be released via Stop Start/Inertia. Pre-orders are available now.
