The Avalanches Announce East Coast Tour Dates

The Avalanches have locked in headline shows in Brisbane and Sydney.

The beloved outfit, who confirmed an upcoming Melbourne date at an iconic venue at the end of last year, announce the East Coast shows after recently claiming the highly-coveted Australian Music Prize for their latest offering, We Will Always Love You.

After taking on Melbourne in mid-April, The Avalanches will then perform in Brisbane on April 30 and Sydney on May 27, marking their first live performance since the release of the new album.

The Music’s Album Of The Week upon release last December, reviewer Guido Farnell described We Will Always Love You as “a collection of songs that bristle with emotion and quite soulfully pushes out deeply positive messages of love and hope”.

Ticket pre-sale goes live this Wednesday, March 24, at 10am local time before general on sale on Thursday at 10am local time.
