All things must pass but some albums are just forever.

George Harrison's classic All Things Must Pass is 50 and as relevant as ever according to the ARIA mid-week figures.

Thanks to a new 50th anniversary edition, complete with a vinyl re-issue, the 1970 classic is likely to land within the Top 10 on this week's ARIA Albums Chart.

All Things Must Pass was the third solo album for Harrison - who released it at just 27 following The Beatles' split - and is home to Harrison's best-known solo track My Sweet Lord along with songs like What Is Life, If Not For You and more.

"Since the 50th anniversary stereo mix release of the title track to my father’s legendary All Things Must Pass album in 2020, my dear pal Paul Hicks and I have continued to dig through mountains of tapes to restore and present the rest of this newly remixed and expanded edition of the album you now see and hear before you,” said Harrison's son Dhani of the release.

The album debuted at #1 on the Go-Set and Kent Music charts in Australia upon its original release, as well as claiming the #1 in the US, UK, Sweden, Canada, Norway and more.
