Announced just last month, Anchorman star and comedian David Koechner has postponed his Australian comedy tour this July to accommodate for "media commitments [that] have arisen in the USA".

"We wish him all the best with the new project, and will be announcing the rescheduled tour dates soon," the statement from promoters Frontier Comedy reads.

Having also starred in The Office, Talladega Nights, Semi-Pro and The Dukes Of Hazzard, the comedy actor's tour announcement came hot on the heels of news that The Office co-star Craig Robinson would be heading down under for a musical comedy run, too.

Talking to The Music, Koechner told us he'd be bringing a special Champ Kind skit specifically for Australian fans to the national run. "I’m thinking of writing a Champ Kind piece just for Australia. Yeah, I think that would be appropriate," he said.
