Alex Lahey Joins Select Music

Set to kick off a run of live shows today at The Hills Are Alive festival, Melbourne songwriter Alex Lahey's week just got even better with news that she has signed to Select Music. 

Lahey joins a roster that includes Tkay Maidza, Client Liasion, Henry Wagons and more. 

"I’m super excited to be working alongside Select Music," Lahey said. 

"I feel extremely humbled to be part of a roster that includes some of Australia’s best artists. I can’t wait to continue to develop and grow as an artist and performer with the support of the great team at Select."

The news comes less than a week after the premiere video release of the singer's second single, You Don't Think You Like People Like Me.

Select Music's Katie Rynne said of the signing, Select Music is incredibly excited to welcome Alex Lahey to the family.

"Already well known on the Melbourne music scene, her new solo project just shows what a divers songwriter and performer she is. Totally relatable lyrics and infectious hooks, coupled with a  great voice and killer band, what more could we want?"

Sydney fans can catch Lahey's live show at World Bar on Friday 1 April.
