“I welcome the challenge of joining the team charged with guiding its future.”

Former SA senator and federal government minister Amanda Vanstone has joined the Adelaide Festival board.
Boasting an eclectic skillset, the Adelaide-born Liberal member had a taste of the creative side of things more recently during her stint as Chair of the Anne & Gordon Samstag Museum of Art at the University of South Australia and is currently is a presenter on ABC Radio National, among other things.

"The Adelaide Festival started when I was in primary school and is an important part of our cultural life,” Vanstone said.

“I welcome the challenge of joining the team charged with guiding its future.”

Over the next three years, Vanstone is set to make “a significant contribution” to Adelaide Festival, according to chair Judy Potter, “as the new team builds on its legacy to ensure ongoing success."
