Meagan Loader is now ABC's acting Head Of Music & Creative Development
ABC's Music management team has had a major shake-up today.
It's been announced that Chris Scaddan - Head of Music & Creative Development in the ABC’s Entertainment & Specialist division - will move into a new role where he will "work across the ABC’s three content divisions to develop a long-term strategy for audio services, including live audio/radio, on-demand content and podcasts".
The role will commence from 19 July and run through to the end of 2022.
Joe Gelonesi will step into the role as ABC Classic & ABC Jazz Content Manager to drive the brands' national strategy, after two decades with the broadcasters and his most recent roles as Manager of Religion & Ethics. Gelonesi was a founding team member for the first-ever triple j Hottest 100.
These changes have had a major impact on leadership at digital radio station Double J.
Double J, ABC Country and Rage manager Meagan Loader will now move into the role of acting Head of Music & Creative Development for the next 18 months.

Loader was named as one of the 50 most influential people in the Australian music industry last year as part of The Music's annual The Power 50 list.
Loader was the Program Director for FBi Radio in Sydney for its station launch in 2003 and has since held a number of roles with ABC Program Manager for triple j.
Double J’s Executive Producer, Programs Ryan Egan will step in to Loader's role for this period.
