ABC Announce 2027 Australian Tour

ABC will tour Australia for the first time in over a decade upon their return in March 2027.

British pop icons ABC, fronted by the inimitable Martin Fry, are finally making their way back to Australia next year for their first shows in the country in over a decade.

Returning in March 2027 for a six-date national tour, ABC will perform tracks from their landmark album, The Lexicon of Love – their debut album released in 1982. Along with revisiting the beloved record, the band will perform a set of greatest hits from across their four-decade career.

The tour commences at Perth’s Astor Theatre on Tuesday, 9 March. It continues at Melbourne’s Palais Theatre on Thursday, 11 March, Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on Saturday, 13 March, Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Sunday, 14 March, Hobart’s Odeon Theatre on Tuesday, 16 March, and concludes at Adelaide’s The Gov on Thursday, 18 March.

Throughout their incredible career, Martin Fry has fronted ABC. They were one of the defining pop acts of the ‘80s, with The Lexicon of Love debuting at #1 on the UK Albums Chart upon its release. Produced by Trevor Horn, the album features well-known singles such as Poison Arrow, The Look of Love, and All of My Heart.

ABC have also long enjoyed success in Australia, The Lexicon of Love reaching #9 on the Albums Chart, Poison Love becoming a top five hit single, and The Look of Love charting at #7.

In 2016, Fry unveiled The Lexicon of Love II, a sequel to the band’s beloved debut. He co-wrote the record with Academy Award-winning composer Anne Dudley. The original album celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2022, with ABC bringing successful tours in the UK, the US, and now Australia.
