A Heap More Aussies Get Added To SXSW 2016

Big White, DZ Deathrays, Harts and so, so many more

Austin, Texas's South By Southwest (SXSW) hosts one of the largest music showcases in the world and this year's contingent boasts a solid amount of Aussies, with another 21 Australian acts added today to the ten that had already been announced.

Joining Hockey Dad, Gold Class, Nite Fields, Ben Abraham and more, today's massive third announcement features singer/songwriter Kita Alexander, BIGSOUND 2016 buzz act Big White, electronic duo Cosmo's Midnight, Castlemaine's DD Dumbo, DMA's (who coincidentally just dropped a new song), dance-punk duo DZ Deathrays and rockers Gang Of Youths.

Also added to the showcase bill are 8 Ball Aitken, Andy ClockwiseMatt Gresham, Harts, Julia Jacklin, Mr Rogers, Pretty City, Scraps, Spookyland, Stonefield, Tigertown, Vallis Alps, Wave Racer and WILSN, rounding up the Aussie acts on the six-day music festival and conference. Diaz Grimm and Marlon Williams will be repping from New Zealand.

SXSW is due to kick off on Tuesday, 15 March 2016, running until Sunday, 20 March.
