Thanks to APRA AMCOS.

In recognition of the limited opportunities for art music performers to have their original works performed, APRA AMCOS has launched the Art Music Fund, which invites Australian and New Zealand artists to apply for a grant from a total pool of $100,000.

The funding will be available for composers to create commissioned work that is also complemented by an exploitation program and they will be expected to collaborate with parties such a orchestras, producers and recording companies to propose the work which will be guaranteed exposure by way of performance, recordings and broadcasts.

Applications will be assessed by the viability of the project, as well as the quality of the work.

All entries will close at 5pm on 30 April and successful applicants will be contacted by the end of May.
