The announcement follows the successful trial and implementation of the Enmore Road Special Entertainment Precinct.

This year’s Australian Music Prize has been increased from $30,000 to $50,000 – proving SoundMerch’s “commitment and support of Australian artists”.

The Punters Club closed its doors on 17 February 2002.

Artists, venues, and festivals can submit themselves for consideration for this year’s awards from today until Friday, 19 July.
