Australian not-for-profit organisation One Of One is celebrating its tenth anniversary this March.
The epic milestone will be commemorated with a national breakfast tour, stopping in Perth for the first time. For the Melbourne event, music icon Tina Arena will be a highly anticipated keynote speaker. Tina Arena is the first of many keynote speakers to be announced ahead of the star-studded events.
Previous keynote speakers and performers include Jen Cloher, Stella Donnelly, Becca Hatch, Eliza Hull, Deborah Cheetham AO, Emma Donovan, Beckah Amani, Caiti Baker, and more.
One Of One supports and empowers the Australian music industry’s female and gender non-conforming members. Its annual events take place in March – Women’s History Month – with the first date happening ahead of International Women’s Day (Saturday, 8 March).
The organisation is orchestrated by a team of talented and respected Australian music industry professionals: Sarah Hamilton, Joanna Cameron, and Bec Young.
The 2025 One Of One events begin at The Rechabite, Perth, on Friday, 7 March. From there, the not-for-profit breakfast and networking mornings head to The Triffid, Brisbane, on Wednesday, 12 March; Darwin’s Botanical Garden Centre on Tuesday, 18 March; Sydney’s Factory Theatre on Thursday, 20 March; Melbourne’s Corner Hotel on Tuesday, 25 March, and Adelaide’s The Gov on Friday, 28 March.

In a statement, the One Of One team said they “cannot believe” the event has reached a decade of empowering the music industry.
“We cannot believe it’s been 10 years of One Of One! We’ve grown from our humble beginnings with the help and support of our community, and the music industry. We still love what we do, and it’s as important now as it ever was,” they continued.
“We have a team of incredible women and GNC people across the country who work with us, and we are so proud of being here for a decade and all of the people we’ve spotlighted through our events and interviews (over 400!). So many memories! And so much more to come.”
Discussing the 2025 event, they added, “We’re excited to return to venues like The Gov in Adelaide, The Factory in Sydney, Botanic Gardens Centre in Darwin, and The Triffid in Brisbane, who have all been involved in One Of One events in the past.
“For the first time, we are heading to Perth and partnering with the incredible Rechabite there and in Melbourne, we’ll be hosting our event at the iconic Corner Hotel for the first time!
“Diversity and equity will always be important, and there are many organisations fighting for this in different ways. With the political climate the way that it is, it’s more important now than ever to keep fighting for these things.
“One Of One is a safe space for women and GNC people to connect, celebrate and push things forward. We want to keep having the discussions that mean something, that go deeper than surface level, and that push for meaningful change.”
